You always hear about the "terrible 2's," but we've honestly been really enjoying these last several months with Grady. That's not to say there aren't challenging times that come along with having a toddler, but Grady has really just been so much fun. He is talking a lot and sometimes the things that come out of his mouth are so funny! (I'll try to capture some conversations on video!) :)
Yesterday on the way home from preschool, this is the conversation we had:
______________________
Grady: "I don't want to go home. I'm going to work now. But first I have to go home and get my tie on."
Tracy: "What are you going to do at work?"
Grady: "I'm working UNC at Daddy's office. I'm going to look at my pictures [as in the pictures Grady drew for Brandon to bring to work] and write on blue paper and yellow paper and red paper. Then I'll come home at night."
Tracy: "Okay...I'll bring you to work then."
Grady: "NO!!! I want to go home. I don't want to go to work right now. I need to eat munch [what he calls lunch]!"

Of course there are also all sorts of other interesting things that come out of his mouth these days too! We are in the midst of potty training, so he likes to give everyone details about what he did in the potty that day! :) We ate lunch out with Brandon earlier today, and when Grady came out of the bathroom, he screamed (practically to the entire restaurant), "I did it!!! I peed in the potty! I did it!!" We can't blame him though - it is very exciting! :)
